For more than 125 years, the Cercle Royal d’Escrime de Bruxelles has brought generations together through the art and sport of fencing. From young beginners to experienced fencers, we offer a welcoming environment to learn épée and fleuret, build confidence, sharpen the mind and challenge yourself — all while carrying forward a proud tradition of passion, respect and excellence on the piste.
Fencing is a sport that challenges both body and mind. It develops speed, agility, coordination and fitness while teaching you to think ahead, stay focused and react under pressure. Every bout is a game of strategy, where timing, precision and quick decisions can make all the difference. Beyond the physical benefits, fencing builds confidence, discipline, perseverance and respect, while bringing people together through a shared passion for the sport. Whether you’re looking for a fun way to stay active, a new challenge, or a sport you can grow with for years, fencing has something to offer everyone.
At the Cercle Royal d’Escrime de Bruxelles (CREB), we offer fencing training in Brussels for both children and adults, with coaching in two of the sport’s most exciting weapons: épée and fleuret.
Épée is a game of patience, precision and distance, where the entire body is a valid target.
Fleuret focuses on the torso and combines speed, technique and tactical thinking through the rules of right of way.
Whether you are a beginner looking to learn fencing, a young fencer discovering the sport, or an experienced adult wanting to improve your technique, CREB provides a welcoming environment to train, develop your skills and enjoy the piste.
